  • 1 (17 oz) box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix (2 boxes)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (15 oz) can Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Grease a 9ร—13 inch baking dish.
  2. Make Cornbread Batter: In a large bowl, combine corn muffin mix, eggs, and milk. Stir until well blended. Set aside.
  3. Make Sloppy Joe Filling: Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease. Add Manwich sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Assemble Casserole: Spread the sloppy joe mixture in the prepared baking dish. Top with an even layer of the cornbread batter.
