Description

These Pan-Seared Salmon Bites are a quick and easy way to enjoy a flavorful and healthy meal! Tender salmon cubes are marinated in a delicious Asian-inspired sauce, then seared to perfection in a skillet. Ready in just minutes, itโ€™s a perfect recipe for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin on or off, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • Optional garnishes: sliced green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Make Marinade: In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and sriracha.
  2. Marinate Salmon: Place salmon cubes in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Toss to coat and marinate for 30 minutes (optional).
  3. Sear Salmon: Heat canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add salmon cubes (skin-side down, if applicable) and sear for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add Sauce: Pour any remaining marinade into the skillet and toss to coat the salmon.
  5. Serve: Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If you donโ€™t have time to marinate the salmon, you can skip this step and proceed directly to cooking.
  • For a crispier exterior, you can pat the salmon dry with paper towels before searing.
  • Serve with your favorite sides, such as rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
