- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 pound green cabbage (1/2 medium head or 6 cups finely sliced)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons dill, fresh or frozen, chopped
- 2 tablespoons green onion, finely chopped, plus more to garnish
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese (1 1/2 cups shredded)
Instructions
- Preheat and prep: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch round pie dish.
- Make batter: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
- Add dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and cornstarch. Whisk into the egg mixture until smooth.
- Prepare cabbage: Place sliced cabbage in a bowl and sprinkle with salt. Scrunch cabbage to soften. Stir in green onion and dill.
- Assemble and bake: Spread cabbage mixture in the prepared pie dish. Pour batter evenly over the top. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 35 minutes, or until golden brown.
Notes
- You can use different types of cheese, such as cheddar or Monterey Jack.
- If you don’t have fresh dill, you can use dried dill.
