  • 2 Bags of Light Butter Microwave Popcorn

Candy and Coating

  • 1 to Cups Colored Sixlets
  • 1 (11.5 oz) Bag White Chocolate Chips
  • ½ Bag Marshmallows
  • 3 Tb Butter or Margarine
  • ¾ Cup Corn Syrup


Instructions

  1. Prepare Popcorn: Follow the instructions on the popcorn bag to microwave the 2 bags of light butter popcorn. Once cooked, set aside in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Make White Chocolate Sauce: In a saucepan, combine the corn syrup, butter (or margarine), and white chocolate chips. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture comes to a boil and the chocolate melts completely.
  3. Add Marshmallows: Stir in the marshmallows until they melt fully into the chocolate mixture, creating a smooth, creamy coating.
  4. Combine with Popcorn: Remove the pan from heat and pour the white chocolate mixture over the prepared popcorn. Gently mix to coat all the popcorn evenly.
  5. Add Sixlets: Fold in 1 to 1½ cups of colored Sixlets gently to avoid breaking the candies.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle some additional Sixlets on top of the popcorn for an attractive presentation. Allow the mixture to set slightly before serving.
