- 12 brownies
- 12 fresh strawberries, rinsed and hulled
Frosting
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp half and half
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Arrange Brownies: Place all 12 brownies in a single layer on a tray or platter to prepare for frosting and decorating.
- Prepare Frosting: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, powdered sugar, half and half, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to beat the mixture for 2 minutes or until it becomes fluffy and smooth.
- Fill Piping Bag: Transfer the frosting into a piping bag, or alternatively, use a Ziploc bag with a corner snipped off to pipe the frosting easily.
- Decorate Brownies: Pipe a swirl of frosting on top of each brownie to create the base of the Santa hat.
- Add Strawberry Hats: Place a fresh strawberry, cut side down, on top of each frosted brownie, resembling the hat’s main body.
- Finish with Frosting Pom-Poms: Add a small dot of frosting at the tip of each strawberry to mimic the fluffy pom-pom on Santa’s hat.
- Chill: Refrigerate the decorated brownies until ready to serve, allowing the frosting to set.
