Description

Salted Caramel Pretzel Bark is a deliciously sweet and salty treat combining smooth milk chocolate, crunchy pretzels, and rich caramel drizzle. This easy no-bake dessert comes together quickly and makes a perfect snack or gift for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Layer

  • 1 (12 oz) bag Milk Chocolate Chips

Pretzels

  • 8 oz Pretzels (half of a 16 oz bag)

Caramel Drizzle

  • 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, unwrapped
  • 2 tbsp Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside to prevent sticking and to make cleanup easier.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: Place the milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  3. Spread Chocolate Base: Spread about two-thirds of the melted chocolate evenly over the parchment paper-lined baking sheet to form a base layer.
  4. Arrange Pretzels: Lay the pretzels evenly on top of the chocolate layer, pressing them gently so they adhere to the chocolate.
  5. Melt Caramel Mixture: In the microwave, combine the unwrapped Kraft caramels with the heavy cream and heat for 2 minutes, stirring until smooth and pourable.
  6. Drizzle Caramel: Evenly drizzle the melted caramel over the pretzels, adding a rich, sweet layer to the bark.
  7. Top with Remaining Chocolate: Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate over the caramel and pretzels to finish the bark with a decorative and flavorful top layer.
  8. Chill to Set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill until the bark is completely set and firm, about 1 hour, then break into pieces to serve.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor and smooth melting texture.
  • If you don’t have Kraft caramels, any soft caramel candies will work.
  • Adjust the amount of caramel and chocolate drizzles to your taste preference.
  • Make sure to chill the bark thoroughly to ensure it sets well before breaking.
  • Store the bark in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to one week.
