Ingredients
Scale
Cheeseball Mixture
- 16 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1 Ounce Packet of Dry Ranch Seasoning Mix
- 2 Cups Finely Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (Divided)
Snowman Decorations
- 1 Small Carrot
- 10 Whole Black Peppercorns
Instructions
- Mix the base: In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, and the dry ranch seasoning mix. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and evenly blended.
- Form cheeseballs: Lay out two pieces of plastic wrap. Place about 1.5 cups of the cream cheese mixture onto the first piece of plastic wrap; this will be the bottom portion of the snowman. Put the remaining one cup of the mixture on the second piece of plastic wrap. With greased hands to prevent sticking, roll each portion into a ball shape.
- Chill the cheeseballs: Refrigerate both balls for approximately 2 hours or until they are firm and set properly to hold their shape.
- Coat with cheese: Once chilled, roll each cheeseball in the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, making sure they are well coated on all sides.
- Assemble the snowman: Place the smaller cheeseball on top of the larger one to form the snowman figure. Use the whole black peppercorns to create the eyes, nose, mouth, and buttons on the snowman.
- Add the carrot nose: Cut a small bite-sized piece from the carrot and attach it as the snowman’s nose.
Notes
- This flavorful cheeseball is not only delicious but also visually appealing, shaped like an adorable snowman perfect for festive occasions.
- Using greased hands helps to shape the cheeseballs easily without sticking.
- Make sure to refrigerate the cheeseballs long enough so they firm up properly before coating and assembling.
- Adjust the quantity of ranch seasoning if you desire a stronger or milder flavor.
