Description

Ingredients

Pita Fries:

  • 3 medium pitas
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon greek seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano

Tzatziki:

  • 1.5 cups plain greek yogurt
  • 1 cup cucumber grated using the large holes on a box grater
  • 1/4 cup shallot or red onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon fresh mint finely chopped & packed
  • 2 teaspoon fresh dill finely chopped & packed
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pita Fries: Cut pita into ยฝโ€ strips then toss with olive oil, greek seasoning, and oregano.
  2. TO MAKE IN THE AIR FRYER: Place in air fryer basket, spaced evenly apart, and cook at 400ยฐF for 5-6 minutes, tossing halfway.

    TO MAKE IN THE OVEN: Place pita strips on a baking sheet and bake at 400ยฐF for 7-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  3. Tzatziki: Mix all the ingredients of the tzatziki together and let rest while the pita fries cook. Add more lemon juice if needed before serving.
  4. Place the cooked pita fries on a platter and serve with the tzatziki dip.


Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle some additional greek seasoning on the pita fries before serving.
