- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Bachman’s Japanese BBQ sauce (or your favorite BBQ sauce)
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Marinate Chicken: Place chicken breasts in a ziplock bag with BBQ sauce. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
- Preheat Grill: Heat grill to high heat (about 450ยฐF/232ยฐC).
- Grill Chicken: Spray grill grates with nonstick cooking spray or use tongs and an oiled paper towel to grease the grates. Place chicken breasts on the grill, reduce heat to medium-high, and close the lid. Cook for 6 minutes, then flip and cook for another 6 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 155ยฐF (68ยฐC).
- Rest and Serve: Remove chicken from grill and let rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can use bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts if you prefer. Adjust cooking time accordingly.
- If you don’t have a grill, you can cook the chicken breasts in a skillet on the stovetop or bake them in the oven.
- For extra flavor, you can add other seasonings to the marinade, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or smoked paprika.
