- 1 (12-count) package King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- American cheese slices
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Frozen onion rings (cooked according to package directions)
- Homemade Burger Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/8 cup mustard
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cook Onion Rings: Cook frozen onion rings according to package directions.
- Brown Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef with chopped onion. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Drain excess grease and stir in minced garlic.
- Assemble Sliders: Slice King’s Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish or on a sheet pan. Layer with American cheese, cooked ground beef, burger sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and a crispy onion ring. Top with the other half of the roll.
- Bake: Brush the tops of the sliders with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 350ยฐF (177ยฐC) for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- You can use any type of ground beef you like, but 80/20 is recommended for juicy burgers.
- If you don’t have King’s Hawaiian rolls, you can use other slider buns or small dinner rolls.
- Feel free to add your favorite burger toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, or pickles.
