Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (12-count) package King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • American cheese slices
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Frozen onion rings (cooked according to package directions)
  • Homemade Burger Sauce:
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 1/4 cup ketchup
    • 1/8 cup mustard
    • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook Onion Rings: Cook frozen onion rings according to package directions.
  2. Brown Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef with chopped onion. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Drain excess grease and stir in minced garlic.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Slice King’s Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish or on a sheet pan. Layer with American cheese, cooked ground beef, burger sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and a crispy onion ring. Top with the other half of the roll.

Notes

  • You can use any type of ground beef you like, but 80/20 is recommended for juicy burgers.
  • If you don’t have King’s Hawaiian rolls, you can use other slider buns or small dinner rolls.
  • Feel free to add your favorite burger toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, or pickles.
