Main Ingredients
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons Nutella
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee or 1 shot espresso
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup ice cubes
-
Optional Topping
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Brew Coffee or Espresso: If using espresso, pull your shot. If not, brew your coffee and set aside to cool slightly before using.
- Warm the Nutella: Place Nutella in a small bowl and microwave for 10โ20 seconds or heat gently on the stovetop to soften it for easier blending.
- Blend Main Ingredients: In a blender, combine the milk, sugar, Nutella, coffee or espresso, and vanilla extract. Pulse and blend until everything is well-mixed and smooth.
- Add Ice and Blend: Add ice cubes to the blender and blend on high for about 1 minute until fully smooth and the frappe has a creamy texture.
- Serve: Pour the blended Nutella frappe into a tall glass. Top with whipped cream if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Blend the main ingredients before adding ice to prevent the Nutella from becoming lumpy.
- If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, replace the single espresso shot with a double shot.
- For a sweeter drink, you can adjust the sugar or add a splash of flavored syrup.
- Use low-fat or dairy-free milk if you prefer a lighter or vegan version.
