- 3 cups uncooked pasta (such as penne, rotini, or ziti)
- 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 4 mild Italian sausages, casings removed
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 sweet onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 3 cups pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat Oven and Cook Pasta: Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Brown Meats: In a large skillet, cook ground beef, bacon, and sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, green pepper, mushrooms, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Cook until vegetables are softened.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked meat mixture and sautéed vegetables to the drained pasta. Stir in pizza sauce and pepperoni.
- Bake: Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
