- 2 cups Hungry Jack Pancake Mix
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Cook Sausage: Brown breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain grease well and set aside.
- Make Batter: Prepare pancake batter according to package instructions using 1 ½ cups of water. Stir in cooked sausage, shredded cheese, and maple syrup.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a mini muffin pan. Fill each muffin cup with the pancake batter. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve: Serve warm with additional maple syrup for dipping.
Notes
- You can use any type of breakfast sausage you like, such as pork sausage, turkey sausage, or chicken sausage.
- If you don’t have Hungry Jack Pancake Mix, you can use another brand of pancake mix or make your own from scratch.
- For a sweeter version, you can add a bit more maple syrup to the batter or drizzle some honey on top after baking.
