Description

This Mango Colada is a tropical, creamy cocktail blending frozen pineapple, mango, white rum, pineapple juice, creamy coconut cream, and coconut milk. Quick to prepare and packed with bright, fruity flavors, itโ€™s the perfect refreshing drink for summer or anytime you crave a taste of the tropics.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Fruits

  • 1 1/4 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup frozen mango

Liquids

  • 2 ounces white rum (or 1 1/2 ounces for a lighter drink)
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 3 tablespoons coconut milk

Creams

  • 1/3 cup coconut cream

Garnish (optional)

  • Pineapple triangles
  • Mint leaves
  • Mango pieces
  • Fresh coconut pieces

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients โ€“ Add frozen pineapple, frozen mango, white rum, pineapple juice, coconut cream, and coconut milk into a blender. Measure each ingredient accurately for a balanced flavor profile.
  2. Blend Until Smooth โ€“ Blend all the ingredients thoroughly until the frozen fruits are completely smooth, resulting in a creamy and thick consistency. If you prefer the colada thicker, add more frozen pineapple and blend again.
  3. Garnish and Serve โ€“ Pour the Mango Colada into a glass and garnish with pineapple triangles, fresh mint leaves, mango pieces, or pieces of fresh coconut as desired. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing tropical flavors.

Notes

  • Do not add ice as it will dilute the drink and water down the flavors.
  • You can adjust the amount of rum for a stronger or lighter cocktail.
  • For extra creaminess, use full-fat coconut cream.
  • Freeze the serving glass ahead for an even more refreshing drink.
