Instructions
- Prepare Cheesecake Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon extract, and lemon zest. Beat on medium-high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Fill & Shape Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough into triangles on a clean surface. Spoon the cheesecake filling onto the wider end of each triangle. Gently roll each piece of dough, starting from the wide side and tucking in the corners, forming crescent shapes.
- Bake: Place the filled rolls 2 inches apart on a lightly greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) for 12โ14 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
- Cool: Remove the baked rolls from the oven and transfer to a wire rack. Let them cool completely before glazing.
- Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, combine the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir until the glaze is smooth and pourable.
- Glaze the Rolls: Drizzle the lemon glaze evenly over the cooled crescent rolls. Allow the glaze to set before serving.
