- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

- ½ teaspoon onion powder

- 2 pounds New York Strip steaks
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade: Whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, honey, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl until well combined to create the marinade.
- Marinate the steak: Place the New York Strip steaks in a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over the meat. Massage the marinade into the steaks ensuring even coverage. Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible. Alternatively, place the steaks and marinade into an airtight container, turning occasionally to coat evenly.
- Refrigerate: Refrigerate the steaks for a minimum of 6 hours or up to 5 days to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat thoroughly. You may also freeze the marinated meat for up to 12 months for longer storage.
- Bring to room temperature: About 20-30 minutes before grilling, remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit on the counter to come to room temperature, which helps them cook more evenly.
- Grill the steaks: Preheat your grill and cook the steaks according to desired doneness, using a meat thermometer or grill time guide to achieve perfect internal temperatures.
Notes
- New York Strip steaks are recommended, but rib eye, top sirloin, flank, or skirt steak also work well with this marinade.
