For the Chicken
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs

- Lemon pepper seasoning, to taste
- 5 slices of lemon
For the Sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
- Juice of half a lemon

- Cooking oil, as needed

- Mix the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon pepper seasoning, and the juice of half a lemon until well combined. Set this sauce aside for later.
- Season and Brown the Chicken: Heat cooking oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. While the oil heats up, pat the chicken thighs dry and season one side generously with salt and lemon pepper seasoning. Place the chicken in the skillet, seasoned side down, then season the other side. Sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides and nearly cooked through (about 90%).
- Add Lemons and Sauce: When the chicken is almost done, reduce the heat to medium-low. Add lemon slices to the skillet, then pour in the prepared sauce. Turn the heat back up to medium until the sauce starts bubbling. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, spooning sauce over the chicken to baste and glaze it.
