Ingredients

  • 4 (8-oz) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Season Chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, rosemary, and parsley.
  2. Sear Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer chicken to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  3. Make Sauce: Add butter and chicken broth to the skillet. Scrape the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon to deglaze. Reduce heat to low, add garlic, and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Combine and Serve: Return chicken to the skillet and flip to coat in the sauce. Heat for 1-2 minutes, or until warmed through. Serve chicken with pan sauce spooned over.

Notes
