Description

Frozen Mint Lemonade is a refreshing and tangy beverage made with fresh lemon juice, cooling mint leaves, and ice, all blended together for a frosty, invigorating summer drink.

  • 3/4 cup (177 ml) lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (23 g) fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup (237 ml) water

Ice

  • 3 1/2 cups (828 g) ice

Instructions

  1. Blend the Base: In the glass of a high powered blender, add the lemon juice, granulated sugar, fresh mint leaves, and water. Pulse until everything is well incorporated, and the sugar has dissolved completely. This creates your lemonade concentrate with a bright minty aroma.
  2. Add Ice: Add the ice to the blender. Continue pulsing or blending until all the ice is fully crushed and the mixture becomes a smooth, frozen slush.
  3. Serve: Pour the frozen mint lemonade evenly into 4 glasses. Garnish each with lemon slices or mint sprigs for an extra refreshing presentation. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a more tart flavor, substitute 1/4 cup of the lemon juice with lime juice, and increase the sugar and add 2 extra tablespoons if desired.
