Description

Festive and fun Christmas Marshmallow Pops featuring triple-stacked marshmallows dipped in rich Ghirardelli chocolate and decorated with colorful candy melt drizzles in red, white, and green. Perfect for holiday parties and easy to make with minimal ingredients and microwave melting method.

Ingredients

Scale

Marshmallows

  • 24 Regular-Sized Marshmallows
  • 8 Lollipop Sticks

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup Ghirardelli Chocolate Melting Wafers or Chocolate Chips

Candy Melts Drizzle

  • 20 Red Candy Melts
  • 20 Bright White Candy Melts
  • 20 Green Candy Melts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marshmallow Pops: Select 3 marshmallows of approximately the same size and carefully skewer them onto a lollipop stick to form one pop.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: Place 20-25 chocolate wafers or chips into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and continue microwaving in 10-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is almost completely melted and smooth.
  3. Coat the Marshmallows: Using a spoon, cover the stacked marshmallows with the melted chocolate, smoothing it out evenly over each pop to create a chocolate shell.
  4. Allow Chocolate to Set: Let the chocolate-coated marshmallow pops cool at room temperature until the chocolate hardens completely.
  5. Melt Candy Melts: Separate the red, bright white, and green candy melts into individual Ziploc bags and microwave each bag until fully melted. Cut a small tip off each bag for drizzling.
  6. Decorate with Drizzle: Alternate the colors and drizzle the melted candy melts over the chocolate-coated marshmallow pops to add colorful festive decorations.
  7. Final Setting: Allow the candy melt drizzle to harden completely before storing.
  8. Storage: Store the finished Christmas Marshmallow Pops in an air-tight container to maintain freshness until serving.

Notes

  • Use a gentle hand when skewering marshmallows to avoid tearing or squashing.
  • If chocolate begins to harden while working, gently reheat in short bursts to restore smoothness.
  • For even coating, tap off excess chocolate before setting to avoid drips.
  • Store pops at room temperature in a cool, dry place to prevent melting or stickiness.
  • Customize drizzle colors or add sprinkles for other holiday themes.
