Description

This Shortcut Mocha Punch is a quick and refreshing coffee-based punch perfect for gatherings or a delightful dessert drink. Combining mocha flavored iced coffee with sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, it offers an indulgent yet easy way to serve a creamy, chocolatey punch. Garnished with grated chocolate or cocoa powder, it’s a delicious treat that requires minimal prep and no cooking.

Ingredients

Scale

Mocha Punch

  • 1 (64 ounce) carton mocha flavored iced coffee (about 8 cups)
  • 1 ½ cups sweetened whipped cream (Cool Whip, Reddi Whip) or vanilla ice cream

Optional Garnish

  • Grated Hershey’s chocolate bar (use a vegetable peeler or cheese grater)
  • Cocoa powder (for sprinkling through a fine mesh sieve)

Instructions

  1. Pour mocha iced coffee. Slowly pour the mocha flavored iced coffee into a punch bowl or a very large glass serving bowl, ensuring it is chilled and ready to serve.
  2. Add whipped cream or ice cream. Just before serving, dollop the sweetened whipped cream or scoop vanilla ice cream on top of the mocha iced coffee in the punch bowl to create a creamy, frothy layer.
  3. Garnish the punch. To enhance flavor and presentation, grate a Hershey’s chocolate bar over the punch with a vegetable peeler or cheese grater. Alternatively, sprinkle cocoa powder over the top using a fine mesh sieve for an elegant finish.

Notes

  • To make your own mocha iced coffee: combine 4 cups strong brewed coffee (chilled), 4 cups 2% or whole milk or half-and-half cream, and ⅓ cup chocolate syrup. Serve this mixture over ice cubes before using in the punch.
  • This recipe serves approximately 10 servings of ¾ cup each.
  • Use chilled ingredients to keep the punch refreshing and well chilled for serving.
