Potato Layer:

  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or steak until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.

  3. Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, mix the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer in Crockpot: In the crockpot, layer half of the diced potatoes, half of the beef mixture, and half of the shredded cheese. Pour half of the soup mixture over this layer.
  5. Repeat Layering: Repeat layering with the remaining potatoes, beef mixture, cheese, and soup mixture.
  6. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
