- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 ounces thawed lemonade concentrate (3/4 cup)
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar or rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Lemon slices or wedges, for serving
- Cooked white rice and steamed vegetables (such as broccoli), for serving
Instructions
- Add Chicken and Sauce: Lightly grease the slow cooker insert with cooking oil. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker. In a bowl, whisk together lemonade concentrate, brown sugar, ketchup, and vinegar. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Slow Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours, or on HIGH for 2-3 hours.
- Thicken Sauce: 30 minutes before the chicken is done, whisk together flour and water to make a slurry. Remove chicken from the slow cooker, turn the heat to HIGH, and whisk in the slurry. Return chicken to the slow cooker and cook for the remaining 30 minutes.
- Serve: Serve chicken over cooked rice with a side of steamed vegetables. Pour some sauce over the chicken and garnish with lemon slices or wedges.

- Add extra water for more or thinner sauce.
- For gluten-free, use gluten-free flour or an alternative thickener like arrowroot or tapioca starch.
- For paleo or refined sugar-free, use coconut sugar and sugar-free ketchup.
