Description

Easy Chocolate Peanut Clusters are a simple and delightful treat made by coating salted peanuts in melted chocolate. Perfect for a quick homemade snack or thoughtful gift, these clusters combine the rich taste of milk or dark chocolate with the satisfying crunch of peanuts. With only two ingredients and minimal preparation, they’re a fuss-free indulgence that can be ready in under an hour.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 400g / 14oz milk or dark chocolate
  • 275g / 2 cups salted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Melt the Chocolate: Melt the chocolate in a large bowl or jug using either the microwave or a double boiler method over a pan of hot water on the hob. Be careful not to overheat the chocolate to avoid burning it.
  2. Coat the Peanuts: Once the chocolate has fully melted, stir in the salted peanuts, mixing thoroughly until all peanuts are evenly coated with chocolate.
  3. Form Clusters: Line two trays or plates with parchment paper. Spoon dollops of the chocolate peanut mixture onto the parchment, then gently press down each dollop with a spoon to form cluster shapes.
  4. Chill to Set: Repeat the spooning process until all the mixture is used, creating approximately 25 clusters depending on their size. Place the trays in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes or until the clusters are solidified.
  5. Serve or Store: Once set, serve the clusters immediately or package them for gifting. Store them in the refrigerator to prevent the chocolate from melting.

Notes

  • These clusters are best kept refrigerated to prevent the chocolate from melting and to maintain their shape.
  • You can experiment with milk or dark chocolate depending on your taste preference.
  • Adding a pinch of sea salt on top before chilling can enhance the flavor contrast.
  • Ensure the parchment paper is laid flat to avoid uneven cluster shapes.
