Peanut Butter Mixture

Instructions
- Prepare the Peanut Butter Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and softened salted butter. Gradually stir in the powdered sugar until fully incorporated and a dough forms. Cover the dough and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to firm up for easier handling.
- Shape the Balls: Using your hands, roll the chilled dough into 1-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper. Cover the balls and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to help them hold their shape for dipping.
- Melt the Chocolate: Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips according to package instructions, optionally stirring in the vegetable shortening or coconut oil to create a smoother, shinier dip.
- Coat the Peanut Butter Balls: Using a fork, dip each peanut butter ball one at a time into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off. Place the coated balls back onto the wax paper. Cover and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens and the peanut butter balls are set, ready to serve.
