Instructions
- Prepare the baking dish: Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF. Spray the bottom of a 9ร13-inch casserole dish with nonstick spray. Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of the dish and set aside.
- Cook the noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles until al dente, following the package instructions. Drain them and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking.
- Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, mix together half of the Alfredo sauce, shredded chicken, ยฝ cup mozzarella, ยผ cup Parmesan, garlic powder, lemon zest, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
- Assemble the roll-ups: Lay the noodles flat on a clean work surface, patting them dry with a paper towel. Divide the chicken mixture evenly across the noodles and roll each one up. Place the rolls seam-side down in the prepared dish.
- Add sauce and cheese: Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce evenly over the rolls. Sprinkle the rolls with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake the roll-ups: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the chicken is warmed through and the cheese is melted.
- Optional broiling: For a crispy cheese topping, broil the dish for the final 2-3 minutes. Just keep an eye on it to avoid burning.
- Serve and garnish: Remove the dish from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot. Enjoy!
