Description

Brownie Bite Gnomes are adorable, festive treats made by topping brownie bites with cream cheese frosting, fresh strawberries, and Reese’s Puffs cereal to resemble little gnome faces. Perfect for holiday parties or whimsical dessert tables, these no-bake delights combine rich brownie bites with creamy frosting and fresh fruit hats, coming together quickly with simple assembly and chilling.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Bites

  • 24 brownie bites, store-bought or homemade

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting, store-bought or homemade

Fruit

  • 24 fresh strawberries, washed and dried

Toppings

  • 24 Reese’s Puffs cereal pieces

Instructions

  1. Prepare Strawberries: Wash the strawberries thoroughly and let them dry completely. Remove the green leaves and carefully cut out the stem with a small knife to create a small hole, avoiding cutting straight across the tops to maintain their shape.
  2. Prepare Frosting Bag: Place the cream cheese frosting into a piping bag or into a small sandwich bag with one corner snipped off to create a piping nozzle for easy application.
  3. Pipe Frosting Beard: Pipe the frosting over the top of each brownie bite and down one side to resemble a beard for the gnome face.
  4. Add Strawberry Hat and Nose: Place a strawberry on top of each brownie bite as the gnome’s hat, and press one Reese’s Puff cereal onto the frosting to serve as the nose.
  5. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the assembled brownie bite gnomes immediately for at least one hour before serving to let the frosting set and firm up. These treats look best the day they are made but can be stored refrigerated for one to two additional days.

Notes

  • Ensure strawberries are completely dry before assembling to prevent sogginess.
  • If you don’t have a piping bag, a small plastic sandwich bag with a corner cut works well for piping frosting.
  • Use fresh strawberries and consume within 2 days for optimal taste and appearance.
  • Brownie bites can be homemade or store-bought depending on convenience and preference.
  • Refrigerate immediately after preparing to keep frosting firm and fresh.
