Black Garlic Blend:
- 2 Black Garlic Cloves, whole
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 tsp Ginger, fresh
Sauce:
- 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/4 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 cup Water, cool + 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Honey
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine black garlic, ginger, and 1/2 cup water. Blend for 20 seconds until smooth.
- Cook Sauce: Transfer the blended mixture to a saucepot. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, honey, and the cornstarch mixture. Stir well.
- Thicken Sauce: Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
- Serve: Remove from heat. Use the sauce immediately with your choice of meats, vegetables, or noodles. Refrigerate any leftovers for future use.
