Ingredients

Units Scale

Chocolate Mixture

  • 1 bag Milk Chocolate Chips (12 oz bag)
  • 1 bag Butterscotch Chips (12 oz bag)
  • 1/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter

Additional Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Chow Mein Noodles
  • 1 bag Cadbury Mini Eggs

Instructions

  1. Melt Chocolate Mixture
Place the milk chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and creamy peanut butter in a microwave-safe large mixing bowl. Heat the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each interval, until the chips are fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Be sure to avoid overheating, as this could cause the chocolate to burn.
  2. Combine with Chow Mein Noodles
Once the chocolate mixture is smooth, add the chow mein noodles to the bowl. Stir until all the noodles are evenly coated with the chocolate mixture.
  3. Shape the Nests
Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of the mixture onto a sheet of parchment or wax paper. Form each into a nest-like shape and place 3 candy eggs atop each nest.
  4. Set and Serve
Allow the nests to sit at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes, or until the chocolate has fully set. Once they are firm, your cookies are ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftover cookies in an airtight container or ziplock bag at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • You can experiment with toppings, such as pastel-colored sprinkles or different candies, for a seasonal twist.
  • Use a silicone mat instead of parchment paper for easier cleanup.
  • For added flavor, you can sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on the nests just before setting.
