- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 10 ounces egg noodles (or your choice of noodles)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat and Brown Beef: Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown ground beef and drain excess grease.
- Sauté Vegetables and Season: Add onion, garlic, and red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender. Stir in oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer with Liquids: Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Add Worcestershire sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Cook Noodles: Add noodles to the skillet and cook until al dente.
- Add Dairy: Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Mix in half of the cheddar cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Bake: Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Top with remaining cheddar and Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and let cool slightly before serving.
