Wooden Skewers:
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Chicken:
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1 1/4 cups (290 g) mayonnaise
- 2/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha, or more to taste
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Prepare Chicken: In a large bowl, mix chicken cubes with oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Skewer Chicken: Thread 4-5 chicken cubes onto each soaked skewer.
- Make Bang Bang Sauce: Combine mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey. Set aside half of the sauce.
- Coat Chicken: Brush chicken with remaining sauce and air fry at 400°F for 11-12 mins, flipping halfway.
- Finish and Serve: Drizzle reserved sauce over cooked skewers before serving.
- Oven Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake skewers for 20-25 mins, then brush with sauce.
- Grill Instructions: Grill skewers for 8-10 mins per side, then brush with sauce.
