  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For Apples:

  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced into small pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Optional Toppings:

  • Caramel sauce (store-bought)
  • Sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Oven and Pan: Preheat oven to 350ยฐF. Line a 9ร—9 baking pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
  2. Make Crust: In a medium bowl, mix melted butter, cinnamon, sugar, and graham cracker crumbs. Press evenly into the prepared pan using the bottom of a glass. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Prepare Apples: In a medium bowl, mix apples with sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Make Cheesecake Filling: In a mixer bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and salt on medium-high for 5 minutes until smooth. Gently fold in the prepared apples.
  5. Assemble and Bake: Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust. Level with a spatula. Bake uncovered for about 1 hour, or until the filling is set.
  6. Cool and Slice: Let the cheesecake cool completely before slicing into squares.
  7. Top and Serve: Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with sea salt.

Notes
