Description

These Air Fryer Steak Bites are a quick and easy way to enjoy a flavorful steak dinner any night of the week! Tender steak cubes are marinated in a simple yet savory mixture and air-fried to perfection.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak (or New York strip, ribeye, or similar), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Marinate Steak: In a bowl, combine steak cubes, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well and marinate at room temperature for 20-30 minutes (optional).
  2. Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange steak bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching (cook in batches if needed). Air fry for 4-6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, or until steak reaches desired doneness.
  3. Rest and Serve: Remove steak bites from the air fryer and let rest for at least 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.

Notes

  • Marinating the steak is optional but recommended for enhanced flavor.
  • Adjust the cooking time based on your preferred level of doneness and the thickness of the steak cubes.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. For medium-rare, the internal temperature should reach 130-135°F (54-57°C).
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven at 350°F (177°C) or in a skillet on the stovetop.
