Description

This easy 2 Ingredient Strawberry Fudge recipe creates creamy, sweet, strawberry-flavored fudge with just strawberry frosting and candy melts. Perfect for quick gatherings, gifting, or make-ahead treats, this no-bake fudge is fast, reliable, and customizable with your favorite toppings or extracts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Main Ingredients

  • 16-ounce can strawberry frosting
  • 12-ounce bag strawberry flavored pink candy melts
  • Optional Toppings

  • Sprinkles, as desired (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8ร—8-inch pan with parchment paper, ensuring some overhang for easy removal, and set it aside.
  2. Melt the Candy Melts: Place the candy melts into a medium mixing bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals for 2 minutes, stirring thoroughly after each interval to avoid burning or overcooking. Stop microwaving as soon as the mixture is completely smooth with no lumps.
  3. Melt the Frosting: Remove the lid and all foil from the can of strawberry frosting. Microwave the frosting for 1 minute until melted and pourable.
  4. Mix the Fudge Base: Immediately pour the melted frosting into the bowl with the melted candy melts. Stir thoroughly and vigorously until the mixture is smooth and fully combined with no streaks.
  5. Fill and Set the Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly. Tap the pan on the counter a few times to release any air bubbles. If desired, sprinkle decorations or sprinkles evenly over the top.
  6. Chill the Fudge: Transfer the pan to the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours, or until the fudge is completely set and firm.
  7. Cut and Serve: Once firm, lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into 1-inch squares. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • To freeze, wrap pieces in cling film or foil, and place in a freezer-safe container. Thaw in the fridge overnight or at room temperature for a few hours before serving.
  • This recipe is great for making ahead. It needs to chill for at least 4 hours, making it convenient for parties and gatherings.
  • For a stronger strawberry flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon strawberry extract to the melted frosting before mixing.
  • If you canโ€™t find strawberry frosting, substitute with white frosting and a bit of strawberry extract (flavor will be milder).
  • The fudge will be firm directly from the fridge or freezer; let it warm up slightly before serving for a softer texture.
  • Do not leave cut fudge exposed to air for long periods as it dries out quickly.
  • Color of fudge may vary depending on candy melt brand used.
